My Focus

Let me introduce you to my personal project car and the main focus for this blog. This high riding and all original beauty is a 1989 240sx for those of you who didn’t already know. After hitting another brick wall with my first project car (a certain 1970 Volkswagen beetle) I decided to follow my heart and bought her. I’ll give you a little history on how I came to own the s13.
Getting frustrated with the bug I was feeling frustrated. So after getting my financial aid check for school I decided to start looking for a project 240. Found this gem sitting in a junk yard in Airway Heights, Washington. The car is an all original unmolested automatic s13 with no motor. Guy wanted $900 but I ended up leaving with the car for a little under $600. I’ll be posting updates on the project as much as possible, most likely when I get to buy some new parts or some work gets done.

Automotive Quotes

"I've always maintained that no matter what car we're talking about, character is the number one aspect that determines whether or not you love the car. You performance-oriented folk can nod your head with me when I say this. You may have a car that can lap a course in record time, or it may pull a lot of G's in a straight line, but at the end of the day, if you're not giggling or laughing at the top of your lungs, it is just a hunk of metal."
-Linhbergh Nguyen

"I can’t think of anything better than the ability to yell louder than the passenger screaming in the seat next to you “SHUT UP! I F*CKING GOT THIS!” as you drive over your front lip, while laughing hysterically…"
-Scottie Scheetz

No matter what separates us, no matter how many miles, how different our cultures are, or what languages we speak… we all were there on that track for the same reason.  We love drifting.
-James Evins
